Pacquiao hints at retirement

Eight-time division champ Manny Pacquiao has hinted that a fight between him and pound-for-pound king (at least to this writer) Floyd Mayweather, Jr. may not happen at all. Pacquiao revealed during a radio interview that God appeared to him during a dream and advised him to retire from boxing soon. According to the most popular fighter in the world, the Almighty told him the rigors of boxing is "harmful" to his health if he continues any longer and added that Pacquiao has "done enough."

While Pacquiao's ability to predict the future through his dreams is far from Joseph the Dreamer's ability, we do know he's very religious (reads the Bible everyday) and absurdly superstitious -- check blood tests causes weakness bit.

If Pacquiao does follow the advice of our Lord Savior, he may fight his last fight sometime in November or December of this year. That leaves one more fight for Pacquiao after his match with Timothy Bradley on June 9. Of course all of us are praying to the heavens and the earth that his possible last fight is against Mayweather.
