Looks like Mercito Gesta is up next to face Juan Manual Marquez on July 14th. This is being heavily rumored. It will be on the undercard of Nonito Donaire vs Cristian Mijares. Alot of fans are not happy with the Donaire vs Mijares fight but they are atleast kinda interested in the Marquez vs Gesta. At lightweight Marquez will be fighting at his comfortable weight.
Mercito does not know what it means to lose. He sports a record of 24 Wins 0 Losses with 1 Draw and 12 of those wins coming by way of knockout. That is not enough to keep Marquez off of him. If Pacquiao cannot stop him, then you know Gesta is in for a long night. Gesta has to use the ring to his advantage and hope that Marquez age is slowly creeping up on him. If not, there doesn't seem to be a way to beat Marquez right now.

Nonito Donaire on the other hand will have a very very easy time with Mijares. Maybe this is what Nonito needs. He has been in some pretty tough fights in the last two years...
