WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) sat down with a group of reporters in Puerto Rico and explained his selection of Miguel Cotto as the opponent for May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather was attempting to secure both Manny Pacquiao and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, but Mayweather's financial terms were not accepted by either fighter.
